EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Golf will travel to Indianapolis to compete in the Butler University Fall Invitational at Highland Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.

It is USI's fourth appearance in the invitational. The Screaming Eagles' best finish was 12th in 2024. Reigning Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week junior Brianna Kirsch was USI's top finisher that year, tying for 23rd.

Highland Golf Club is a par-70 course measuring 6,040 yards. Teams will play three rounds, with two on Monday and the final round on Tuesday. Both days will feature an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start.

The 14 teams competing in the invitational are host Butler University, University of Akron,  Austin Peay State University, University of Dayton, University of Detroit Mercy, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Indiana State University, Loyola University Chicago, Northern Kentucky University, Ohio University, Tennessee State University, University of Illinois-Chicago, Western Illinois University, and the University of Southern Indiana.

Last week, USI competed in the Stonehill College Hill Yeah! Invitational in Kingston, New York. The Screaming Eagles earned a fifth-place finish and set several new program achievements. Kirsch earned OVC Golfer of the Week for her performance, finishing third overall at one over par, 145 (72-73). Her total of 145 is a USI best individual 36-hole score since the jump to Division I in 2022 and tied for second-best all time in program history.

Junior Elizabeth Mercer followed closely behind Kirsch. Mercer competed individually in the tournament. She finished tied for sixth place with a score of two over par, 146 (74-72). Her 36-hole score tied for fifth on USI's all-time individual 36-hole records.

Sophomore McKenna Lowe tied for 12th after a huge final-round jump, finishing seven over par and shooting 151 (80-71). Lowe's final-round score of 71 tied for the program's ninth-best individual all-time single-round score and tied for the best single-round score by a Screaming Eagle since USI's move to the D-I ranks.

Kirsch, Mercer, and Lowe will be joined in the lineup this week by senior Tora Timinsky and freshman Kaidyn Wardlaw.
