EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana and Ball State University non-conference baseball game, scheduled for Wednesday in Muncie, Indiana, has been canceled due to weather and will not be rescheduled. The Screaming Eagles (20-17, 4-8 OVC) are scheduled to start a four-game homestand this weekend when they host the University of Tennessee at Martin (18-17, 5-7 OVC) for a three-game series at the USI Baseball Field.

The weekend series starts Friday at 6 p.m.; continues Saturday at 4 p.m.; and concludes Sunday at 1 p.m. The Screaming Eagles are celebrating Alumni Weekend during the three-game series and will recognize the 2016 NCAA II Midwest Regional Championship team prior to Saturday's game.
