Lane Pollock and junior
Nathan Deputy completed the program's first NCAA Zone Championship competition on Monday and Tuesday.
The two athletes competed against 54 competitors in their events during the preliminary round, with the top 18 in each event advancing to the finals. To qualify for the NCAA National Championships, divers needed to finish in the top eight in the one-meter or top 10 in the three-meter.
Deputy made his Zones debut on Monday, competing in the three-meter event. The junior scored 197.35 in the preliminary round, falling short of qualifying for the finals. Pollock competed in the one-meter event on Tuesday, impressing with a score of 257.90. Despite the score, the senior was eliminated in the event's preliminary round.
