EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis dropped its match against Northern Kentucky University Saturday morning, 5-2, at Evansville Tennis Center.
Doubles
The Screaming Eagles failed to secure the doubles point, losing on the two and three courts. On court two
Rylie Wilkison and
Enna Krnjic dropped their match first 6-2. Then juniors
Anais Negrail and
Claire Meyer fell 6-2 in the three slot.
Singles
USI got two points on the board during the singles matches. First win for the Eagles came from junior
Sofia Davidoff (7-6, 6-4), marking her second win of the season.
Antonia Ferrarini followed with a win on the singles one court, (6-0, 4-6, 6-0), also marking her second win of the season.
Next Up
The Screaming Eagles are back on the road for the final weekend of February. They are set to take on Brescia University on February 27 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Then USI will head to University of Missouri- St. Louis on February 28
th for a 4 p.m. match.
