EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Men's Tennis dropped it's match against Lipscomb University Friday evening 6-1.

Doubles
The Screaming Eagles were inched out in a nail biter round of doubles matches. On the doubles on court senior
Axel Sabourin and
Aaron Dawson dropped their match 6-1. The Eagles added their first victory with a win on the doubles three court with the pair's second win of the season (6-4). However, Lipscomb secured the doubles point in a close win on the two slot as
Jy Hibbert and
Kalani Hibbert dropped their match (7-6 (7-1)).

Singles
Lipscomb took five of the six singles matches. First to finish was
Kalani Hibbert, the freshman dropped his match 6-1, 6-0. Sophomore
Jy Hibbert kept his match close, sending the first game to a tiebreaker (7-6, 6-4). Junior Dawson lost a tough fought match on the singles two court, after winning the second game, he dropped a close tiebreaker set (2-6, 6-2, 5-7). Sabourin was the last to finish, fighting for every point, he lost in the singles one slot 6-3, 7-6 (9-7), 2-10).

The lone singles win came from Bove, who dominated the singles three court to take his second win of the year (6-4, 6-4) .

The Eagles are back in action Saturday afternoon to take on Austin Peay State University at 12:30 p.m. at the Evansville Tennis Center.
