EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Men's Basketball team closes the 2025-26 home schedule at Liberty Arena this week with a pair of Ohio Valley Conference games. USI is slated to host Tennessee State Thursday at 8 p.m. before welcoming Tennessee Tech for Senior Day Saturday at 4 p.m.
Both games are scheduled to be streamed on ESPN+, while the USI-TSU game Thursday will be telecast regionally on selected Gray Media affiliates. All USI games are aired live on

The USI-TSU game will be presented by Ascension St. Vincent. Ascension will be promoting heart health with information and free blood pressure screenings.
The Eagles will celebrate Senior Day February 14 when they host Tennessee Tech. The game time has been moved to a 4 p.m. tipoff due to the women's basketball being aired on ESPNU. USI also encourages its fans to wear red for a special "Red Out" game.

th in the OVC, the Screaming Eagles (5-19, 2-12 OVC) are looking to snap a cold streak and attempt to climb back into position to make a trip to the OVC Championship. USI needs to make up a four-game deficit in the six games remaining on the OVC calendar.
The Eagles lost a pair of games last week, falling at UT Martin, 76-54, and Southeast Missouri State, 90-65. USI junior guard/forward
Amaree Brown led the Eagles last week with 15.5 points per contest, while senior guard
Ismail Habib posted 14.0 points per game.

Ismail Habib has been posting 15.7 points per game to lead USI in scoring. Brown is second with 14.1 points per outing, while senior guard
Cardell Bailey is third on the team in scoring with 13.1 points per contest this season.
Tennessee State (16-8, 10-4 OVC) continued to roll sweeping Eastern Illinois and Western Illinois over the weekend. The Tigers also have won five of the last eight games.
The series between USI and TSU is tied, 6-6, after the Tigers grabbed the first meeting of the year, 73-67, in Nashville, Tennessee. The Tigers have grabbed four of the last five from the Eagles over the last three years.
Tennessee Tech (10-15, 5-9 OVC) split last weekend, defeating Western Illinois and falling to Eastern Illinois last week. The Golden Eagles have won three of its last four games.
TTU leads the all-time series with USI, 5-2, after the Screaming Eagles won in Cookeville, Tennessee, in January, 71-54. The teams have split the last four meetings.
