EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Soccer has announced its summer camp series schedule, which features youth soccer clinics and a college ID camp for female high-school age players.
USI Women's Soccer will host its summer college ID soccer camp July 12-13. The camp is geared for high school female soccer players ages 13 and up who want to play soccer at the next level and in college. The camp runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Strassweg Field or the Broadway Avenue USI Soccer Practice Facilities (weather permitting). The camp is $132 for one day or $211 for both days of the camp, which includes a t-shirt. The entire USI coaching staff will be present and very hands-on during the entire camp. The camps are an enjoyable experience and competitive for all players involved. Check-in will be at the Physical Activities Center in the USI Screaming Eagles Complex. Players will need to bring water, a soccer ball, shin guards, cleats, and indoor/running shoes. Those interested can register for the college ID camp at sieaglessoccercamps.com.
USI Women's Soccer will also be hosting weekly youth summer clinics every Wednesday between June 4 through July 23. The clinics are 7-8 p.m. at the Broadway Avenue USI Soccer Practice Facilities (weather permitting) with check-in at 6:45 p.m. The youth clinics are for players, boys and girls, of ages 7-18 years old and feature instruction by USI coaches and players. Cost is $25 per Wednesday clinic.Players will need to bring water, a soccer ball, shin guards, and cleats.
