USI Swim and Dive earns third straight CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honor

EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving squads were named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Fall 2024 semester All-America teams.

The qualifications require each program to hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher as a team during the fall semester. The women's side held an impressive 3.61 grade point average in the fall as 23 athletes qualified. This grade point average is a humongous improvement from their 2023 fall average of 3.28.

The men celebrate 27 hard working athletes who qualified past the mark with a team 3.37 average. The mark improves from their 2023 fall honor of 3.32.

The Screaming Eagles have now received this honor three years in a row. Both squads were one of five Summit League representatives that made the list in the seven-team league.

What's Next
The Eagles swimming squad continues to train for postseason play in the Summit League Championships, while the divers complete regular season competition at University of Illinois-Chicago this Saturday for a diving only event. USI's regular season leads up to the ultra-competitive event in Iowa City. The event runs from February 19-22 at the Iowa Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
