Leah Coleman were named College Sport Communicators Academic All-District for NCAA Division 1 on Tuesday.

This year's awards mark the third CSC Academic All-District Award for Moore and Willis, and the first for Anderson and Coleman.

To earn the CSC Academic All-District Award, the student athlete must be of sophomore standing both academically and athletically and receive at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. The student athlete must also have participated in at least 90 percent of the team's matches.

Keira Moore, who is pursuing her master's degree in Social Work after graduating last spring with her degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, played an important role as a captain in the 2025 squad's success. She took the court in all 32 matches for the Screaming Eagles, as both a defensive specialist and libero. In her final season at USI, she tallied 312 digs, averaging 2.58 per set, helping to bring the team's total to 2,159, the most in a single season in program history. Moore cemented her name in the Eagle record book after moving to third in the all-time digs list with 1,589 career digs, when she picked up 19 digs in the Senior Day series win against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Moore has been named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll three times and has won the OVC Medal of Honor two times.

Bianca Anderson graduated in May with her degree in business administration and is now pursuing her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. She played a key role as a captain in the historic 2025 season, on and off the court. The senior tallied 286 kills, third on the team, averaging 2.36 per set. She more than tripled her digs production from last season with 73, along with 17 service aces. Anderson landed 11
th on the program's career block record, reaching 291 this season. Her 0.93 blocks per set for 113 total this season helped USI lead the Ohio Valley Conference in blocks the whole season. She finished the season with her second All-OVC Second Team selection.

Leah Coleman, who is working on her degree in Biology, finished the 2025 season second on the team in kills with 291. She averaged 2.53 kills per set in her most productive season yet with the Screaming Eagles. Coleman tallied 91 digs and 45 total blocks in her third season at USI. Coleman managed to set new career highs with 18 kills at Southeast Missouri State University and with five blocks in the first win of the season against Northern Kentucky. Coleman is a two-time member of the OVC Commissioner's honor roll.

Lastly,
Ashby Willis, who is pursuing her degree in Exercise Science, had her most successful collegiate season, recording 428 kills, 354 digs, and 58 blocks. The junior finished third in the conference in total kills and in kills per set with 3.54. Willis reached 1,000 career kills in the final match of the season in the semifinal round of the OVC Tournament against Morehead State University. She had her most productive season, adding over 100 to her sophomore season kill total, and finished with a .200 hitting percentage for the first time. In the regular season finale at Western Illinois University, she set career highs with 25 kills and 24 digs. As a captain, she led the team, alongside Moore and Anderson, to the most Division I wins and conference wins in a season in school history. Willis was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll in her first season with USI.

USI Volleyball is coming off its best season since entering the Division I era, boasting a 19-13 overall record and a third-place finish in the OVC with a 14-4 record. As a semifinalist in the OVC Tournament, the Screaming Eagles will hope to build on their success for the 2026 season.
