EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Women's Cross Country junior Ellie Hall has been named co-Ohio Valley Conference Runner of the Week honors in an announcement by the league office Wednesday morning.
 
Hall is earning her second weekly honor for the second time following her sixth-place finish at the Angel Mounds Invitational this past Friday. Hall finished the six-kilometer race in 21 minutes, 16.2 seconds as the Screaming Eagles finished fifth out of 19 teams.
 
The weekly honor marks the fourth time this season that a USI women's student athlete has earned OVC Runner of the Week honors. Sophomore Hadessah Austin earned the honor twice before Hall garnered her first accolade three weeks ago.
 
USI returns to action October 31 when it defends its conference title at the OVC Championships in Charleston, Illinois. The men's 8k is scheduled for 9 a.m., while the women's 6k is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
