CHARLESTON, Ill.- University of Southern Indiana Men's and Women's Track and Field was back in action at the University of Eastern Illinois for day-two of the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships. Four Screaming Eagles competed in day-two of the three-day championships in the 400-meter and 800-meter dash.
Freshman
Olivia Clark (Newburgh, Indiana) competed in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.53 placing 17
th. Junior
Shelby Livingston (Jasper, Indiana) also finished in 17
th place in the 800-meter dash at 2:31.87.
The men competed in one event in day two of the championships which was the 800-meter dash. The freshman duo of
Gabe Land (Newburgh, Indiana) and
Muhiyadin Ali (Chicago, Illinois) did not qualify for the finals finishing 15
th and 22
nd. However, Ali posted an impressive time at 1:55.80 which marked his personal best 800-meter dash. Ali's time was the fastest Screaming Eagle 800-meter time of the season by 2.26 seconds.
