EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Soccer announced the addition of graduate transfer defender
Mia Rose Daly (Haiku, Hawaii) for the 2022 season. Daly is the 14th newcomers added to the roster by USI Head Coach
Eric Schoenstein for the upcoming season.

Eric Schoenstein. "Mia had an incredible NCAA Division I career in New York, with 55-plus career starts and over 4,000 minutes played. Her experience will be a great help to our back line as we transition into Division I play this fall. "
Daly comes to USI following a pair of seasons at Long Island University and St Francis College (N.Y.). She played in 36 matches, making 34 starts in her first two collegiate seasons with the Sharks of Long Island before transferring to appear in 24 matches, starting 23, the last two seasons with the Terriers of St. Francis. Daly registered her three collegiate points at St. Francis with an assist during the 2020-21 COVID shortened season and one goal in 2022.
Prior to the collegiate ranks, Daly lettered in soccer, cross country, and track & field at King Kekaulike High School (Pukalani, Hawaii). She would earn Maui Interscholastic League (MIL) Co-Player of the Year, along with being named King Kekaulike High School Team Most Valuable Player in 2017, and the school's scholar athlete in 2018. Daly also played club soccer with Po'okela Soccer Club, along with Rush Hawaii where she was a member of the state championship teams in 2017 and 2018.
