EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis (2-2, 0-1 GLVC) mustered just one win in a 6-1 loss against former conference foe, Bellarmine University (1-11), in a Saturday night clash at the Evansville Tennis Center. This marks the first loss for the Screaming Eagles this spring.

Kylie Skepnek (Algonquin, Illinois) combination tallied the only win for USI in doubles competition (6-0).
SINGLES: Sophomore
Lauren Rowe (Terre Haute, Indiana) scored the only point for the Eagles after her opponent withdrew from the match due to injury (3-0, WD). Sophomore
Rachel McCorkle (Tulsa, Oklahoma) and junior
Chloe McIsaac (Fairview Heights, Illinois) each won their first sets before stumbling in sets two and three to fall in their respective matches.
COMING UP FOR THE EAGLES:
USI is set to battle Oakland City University March 4 at Wesselman Park in Evansville for a 3 p.m. start time. The Eagles are 4-0 against the Mighty Oaks since 2004. The last match ended in a 7-0 sweep for USI in Oakland City. The Eagles have not allowed Oakland City to score a single point since their first meeting.
