EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The University of Southern Indiana baseball game with Indiana University-Southeast has been cancelled due to the heavy rainfall the Evansville area has received in the past 24 hours. It is yet to be determined if and when the game will be rescheduled.
This marks the eighth time this season that the Screaming Eagles have had a game postponed due to weather. USI, which is 8-11 overall and 1-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, will travel to Owensboro, Kentucky tomorrow to take on Kentucky Wesleyan College in a GLVC match-up. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
The Eagles will travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin to take on the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in a three-game series this Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24. Both days are scheduled for noon starts with Saturday's action scheduled as a doubleheader.
