SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team dropped a neutral-site matchup with Northwest Missouri State University, 4-3, Saturday afternoon at the Cooper Tennis Complex.

Freshman Lucas Sakamaki and sophomore Parker Collignon picked up USI's second and third points of the afternoon, respectively. Sakamaki finished his No. 6 play with a 4-6, 6-0, 6-4 tally, while Collignon wrapped up the day in the No. 4 slot, 7-5, 2-6, 7-6, needing a 7-3 tiebreaker score in the third set to take the point.

The Screaming Eagles (4-3) swept doubles play over the Bearcats (3-0), in lineup order. Junior Yahor Bahdanovich and sophomore Marvin Kromer earned the easiest victory, 6-3 in No. 1 play, followed by Sakamaki and junior Spencer Blandford briefly going into extras, 7-5.
