WICHITA, Kan. - The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team mounted a swift comeback at Newman University Tuesday afternoon, posting the team's second, third and match-clinching fourth point in rapid succession to conclude the action.

Marvin Kromer, junior
Yahor Bahdanovich and junior
Spencer Blandford rallied USI to its victory at the Riverside Tennis Center. The trio all reached their match points nearly simultaneously, with Blandford's No. 4 action deciding the afternoon's competition.

Kromer brought USI to within one with his three-set score of 2-6, 7-5, 6-2, in No. 2 play immediately followed by Bahdanovich's 7-5, 6-4 result in the top singles spot. Blandford shut the door on Newman posting a 7-5 second-set score after going into a marathon first set, 7-6 (7-4).
