EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team fell to the Murray State Racers Friday evening, 7-0.
The duo of junior
Lauryn Thompson and freshman
Chloe McIsaac kept it close in the No. 2 doubles match before eventually falling 6-4.
Seniors
Lauren Hambrock and
Alex Jamison also battled to the end as they dropped the No. 1 doubles match 7-5, also keeping it within two games.
The Screaming Eagles (1-3) host another group of Eagles from Ashland Saturday at the Evansville Tennis Center. Competition is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. (CST).
