EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team has a home/road GLVC schedule on tap this week, beginning Friday at 5:30 p.m. with the University of Indianapolis at Strassweg Field and concluding Sunday at 11 a.m. (CDT) at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.

Week 3 Eagle Notes:
Getting back on track: After a pair of shutout non-conference wins to start the 2019 campaign, the Eagles found themselves on the short end of a 3-1 decision versus McKendree University to open 2019 conference play and the only match of the week. USI's only goal came in the first half when sophomore forward

Unbeaten Streak Ends: USI saw its unbeaten streak that extended back to 2018, ended at 10 matches with the loss on Sunday. The Eagles had posted wins in nine of their last 10 matches.
Climbing the record book: Junior forward
Maggie Winter is starting to climb the USI record book categories, moving into the top 10 in points (37), one away from ninth, and remained 11
th in goals scored (14), one away from entering the top 10.
Schoenstein enters his 4th year: USI Head Coach
Eric Schoenstein is in his fourth season as the head coach of the Eagles, producing a 31-20-7 mark (.595), a share of a GLVC regular season title, and three-straight GLVC Tournament appearances.
USI vs. Indianapolis: The Greyhounds lead the all-time series with the Eagles, 12-11-1, despite USI winning on the road last year in overtime, 3-2. The Eagles and the Greyhounds have split the last five games with two wins each and a tie.
UIndy in 2019: The Greyhounds saw their record go to 3-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 GLVC after a 2-1 road victory over Bellarmine University Sunday afternoon. UIndy is forecast to place 10
th in the league this fall.
USI vs. Bellarmine: Bellarmine leads the all-time series with USI, 13-7-6, after the Eagles defeated the Knights last year, 2-0, on goals by sophomore defender

Lyndsee Monac. The USI win over Bellarmine broke a 14-match winless streak by the Eagles.
Bellarmine in 2019: The Knights are 3-1-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the GLVC after the conference opening loss to UIndy, 2-1, in overtime. Bellarmine was picked to place third in the GLVC this fall.
