• Last week's leaders. Freshman catcher
Courtney Schoolcraft led the Eagles at the plate against McKendree and Illinois Springfield, going 4-of-7 (.571) with a home run and four RBIs. Junior pitcher

Leonhardt has not allowed a run in the last 30.1 innings of work and not issued a walk in the last 35 innings.
• Schoolcraft steps up in big way. After coming in for an injured
Lindsey Barr in game two against McKendree, Schoolcraft recorded an RBI single and hit a three-run home run as USI rallied from a 6-2 deficit to defeat the Bearcats.
• Webb ties record. Sophomore outfielder
Alicia Webb tied a school record for triples in a game (2) when she had back-to-back triples in the first and second innings of USI's 7-0 game-one win over Illinois Springfield Sunday.

• Leonhardt keeps flirting with no-no. Leonhardt continues to flirt with no-hitters this year as she has taken a no-no into the sixth inning in three of her last four starts.
• NFCA Top 25. The University of Indianapolis (No. 20) is the only team from the GLVC that is in this week's Top 25, while No. 8 Grand Valley State (GLIAC) and No. 15 Wayne State (GLIAC) are the only other Midwest Region teams inside the Top 25. Cedarville (GMAC) and Ashland (GLIAC) are receiving votes outside the Top 25.

• Leonhardt closing in on strikeout record. Leonhardt begins the week needing just 79 strikeouts match
Brooke Harmening's all-time school record of 642.
• Rematch. USI Softball's doubleheader against Missouri-St. Louis is a rematch of last year's GLVC Tournament Championship.
• Hitting streaks. Johnson currently leads USI with an eight-game hitting streak, while Webb and sophomore first baseman
Haley Shouse each have five-game hitting streaks. Johnson's eight-game hitting streak matches junior shortstop
