EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis suffered a 7-0 home loss to NCAA Division I foe Murray State University Saturday afternoon at the USI Tennis Courts.
The Screaming Eagles (3-8) dropped all three doubles matches, including a 7-6 (7-0) decision at No. 1 doubles, as they went into singles play facing a 1-0 deficit. The Racers rolled through singles action, taking all six matches in straight sets, to complete the 7-0 shutout.
USI returns to action next Saturday at 11 a.m. when it opens Great Lakes Valley Conference play in a road match at the University of Illinois Springfield.
