EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team won their second straight game on Saturday with a 7-0 route of Truman State University at the Evansville Tennis Center.
DOUBLES:
At the number one doubles position, freshman
Marvin Kromer (Dogern, Germany) and senior
Ilia Karelin (Ekaterinburg, Russia) took down the Bulldog's number one team 6-0.
Following them were the freshmen duo of
Parker Collignon (Owensboro, Kentucky) and
Martin Linares (Buenos Aires, Argentina) who got the second doubles win of the day for USI with a 6-3 win.
Lastly, sophomores
Spencer Blandford (Louisville, Kentucky) and
Kooper Falkenstein (Jeffersonville, Indiana) won their respective match at number three doubles 6-1.
SINGLES:
Linares hit things off for USI at number five singles winning 6-0, 6-1 before Karelin was able to secure the victory over his opponent at the number one position 6-0, 6-0. Blandford and Falkenstein followed suit at numbers four and six singles with 6-2, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-1 match wins, respectively. Collignon then took down his opponent 6-2, 6-0 at the number two slot with Kromer wrapping up the sweep at number three 6-2, 6-4.

USI (2-0, 0-0 GLVC) will face Lindenwood University next at the Evansville Tennis Center on Saturday, February 9 at 4 p.m.
