EVANSVILLE, Ind. - University of Southern Indiana Volleyball returns to the Physical Activities Center on Friday to resume Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The Screaming Eagles (10-13, 2-10 GLVC) host Missouri University of Science and Technology Friday night, followed by No. 8 Drury University Saturday afternoon.
Last Time Out
USI joined the rest of the GLVC to participate in the Midwest Region Crossover last weekend, hosted in Indianapolis by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference. The Eagles went 2-1 on the weekend, defeating Ohio Valley University and Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Sophomore outside hitter
Alyssa Yochum (Columbia, Illinois) led the attack with a 3.15 kills/set rate (41 kills) and a .307 hitting percentage, including a 20-kill performance against OVU. Yochum added her third double-double of the season against KWC.
Junior middle blocker
Amanda Jung (Belleville, Illinois) added 2.46 kills/set on a USI-leading .361 hitting clip. Jung posted double-digit kills in all three matches in Indianapolis.
Senior libero
Haley Limper (Springfield, Illinois) averaged 3.85 digs/set, slightly above her 3.62 season average. Limper stretched her team-lead in services aces, adding five last weekend.
Senior setter
Erika Peoples (Bloomington, Illinois) posted her fifth-highest assist total for a single match in her career against KWC. Peoples posted 46 assists (11.50 per set) in the win over the Panthers.
Dig for the Cure
USI Volleyball will sport its pink uniforms in Friday night's match against Missouri S&T to recognize efforts in the fight against breast cancer. Dig for the Cure aims to fundraise for breast cancer awareness and research.

- The Eagles defeated the Panthers in five sets at the PAC last season...Coleman again led USI in kills (21) and blocks (7), sophomore setter Casey Cepicky posted one of her nine double-doubles last season in the match...USI is 12-4 all-time against Drury and have won seven of the last nine
