ST. LOUIS, Mo. – University of Southern Indiana Men's Soccer dominated the first 55 minutes of play before faltering late in a 2-2 draw to Maryville University on Friday afternoon in St. Louis, Missouri. The Screaming Eagles stand at 6-6-3 overall and 4-6-3 in the GLVC, while the Saints sit at 6-7-3 overall and 4-6-3 in the GLVC.

Maryville responded swiftly with two goals of their own before the sixty minute mark to equalize the match, 2-2. USI would get a pair of shots in the final minutes of regulation, but could not find the back of the Maryville goal. Each team would have one shot each in overtime before the contest ended in the double-overtime tie.
Overall, the Eagles outshot the Saints, 11-8, and had the advantage in corner kicks, 4-1.
The Eagles remain on the road for their next two contests. USI takes on the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday at 2:30 pm before facing Bellarmine University on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. (ET) in Louisville, Kentucky.
