SOMERS, Wis. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team battled the University of Wisconsin-Parkside to a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon in Somers, Wisconsin The Screaming Eagles stand at 4-6-2 overall and 2-6-2 in the GLVC, while the Rangers sit at 4-6-2 overall and 4-4-2 in the GLVC.

Kasper Bjoro (Oslo, Norway). Bjoro powered home the shot from just inside the box off an assist from junior Braide Acton (Evansville, Indiana).
USI would hold the lead through the first half and the majority of the second half. Wisconsin-Parkside would find the equalizer late in the second half just short of the 75 minute mark. The Rangers ripped a shot from the top of the box that just missed the outstretched hand of sophomore goalkeeper

Adam Zehme (Orland Park, Illinois) earned his second-straight start after earning the victory at Lewis University of Friday night. Zehme secured 8 saves in the draw.
USI was able to hold on to a draw and dominate the majority of the first 70 minutes despite finishing the contest at a 25-7 disadvantage in shots and a 9-1 disadvantage on corner kicks.
The Eagles are back at Strassweg Field next week with a pair of conference contests. The Eagles welcome Truman State University on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. before concluding the weekend with a Sunday afternoon contest against Quincy University at 2:30 p.m.
