Complete ResultsKENOSHA, Wis. – The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team placed fifth of eight teams at the UW-Parkside Fall Invitational in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The tournament was hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside at the Club at Strawberry Creek.
The Screaming Eagles posted a two-round 628 (312-316), 52 strokes off the pace set by tournament-winner Lewis. The Flyers shot a 576 (283-293).
USI was led by freshman Preston Van Winkle (Santa Claus, Indiana), who earned a top 10 finish with a two-day 153 (77-76). Freshman
Trevor Grant (Mt. Vernon, Indiana) finished in the top 20 with a two-day total of 155 (76-79).
The Eagles return to action in two weeks when they compete in the Midwest Fall Regional #1 on September 28-29 at Harborside International Golf Resort in Chicago, Illinois hosted by Northern Michigan University.
