2014 Women's Soccer Schedule

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team kicks-off the 2014 campaign September 5 with a neutral-site match against Ashland University at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. The USI-Ashland match-up starts a 2014 calendar that includes eight home dates, eight road games, and a neutral site contest.

USI enters 2014 after recording a 9-7-1 overall and 7-7-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference marks in 2013. The Screaming Eagles have posted a winning record in each of the last five seasons.

Following the match with Ashland, the Eagles will play Ohio Dominican (September 7) to start a string of three-straight road games. USI concludes the season-opening road trip by opening GLVC action against Quincy University (September 12), the defending conference champion, and Truman State University (September 14).

The Eagles open the 2014 Strassweg Field calendar September 19 when they host the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The home slate also includes matches with Maryville University (September 21); the University of Wisconsin-Parkside (September 26); Lewis University (September 28); William Jewell College (October 10); Rockhurst University (October 12); McKendree University (October 24); and Bellarmine University (October 29).

The 2014 home schedule is highlighted by the October 10 "Kick for the Cure" game against WJC. The Eagles will wear pink jerseys to help promote awareness of the fight to the cure breast cancer. USI also has scheduled Senior Day for the October 24 match with McKendree.

In addition to the four matches away from Strassweg Field to start the 2014 campaign, the Eagles are scheduled to travel to Saint Joseph's College (October 3); the University of Indianapolis (October 5); Drury University (October 17); Missouri University of Science & Technology (October 19); and the University of Illinois Springfield (October 26).
