EVANSVILLE, Ind.---- The University of Southern Indiana softball team's doubleheader against Bellarmine University, originally scheduled for Wednesday, will now be played at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.
The Screaming Eagles, who are 3-7 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action, 11-8 overall, travel to Louisville, Kentucky, looking for their first conference sweep. USI went 1-3 last weekend, dropping a pair against University of Indianapolis before splitting with St. Joseph's College.
Bellarmine (11-1 GLVC, 18-6 overall), the GLVC's East Division leader, saw their 12-game winning streak come to end Sunday with a 5-2 loss to UIndy. The Knights bounced back in game two, defeating the Greyhounds 6-1.
Following their time with Bellarmine, the Eagles come back to the USI Softball Field to host University of Illinois Springfield and McKendree University in doubleheader action starting at noon Saturday and Sunday.
