?ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team finished its fall campaign in a tie for 11
th in the 18-team field of the Midwest Fall Regional in St. Louis, Missouri. The tournament was hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis and played at Glen Echo Country Club.
The Screaming Eagles recorded a two-day 627 (319, 308), 46 strokes off the pace set by tournament-winning Lewis University. USI improved 11 strokes on the second day passing GLVC foes Quincy University and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
The Eagles were led by freshman
Kyle Tanriverdi (Pewaukee, Wis.), who tied for 22
nd with a 151 (74-77). Osborne finished nine strokes back of tournament winner Robert Dofflemyer. Following Tanriverdi for the Eagles was freshman Preston Van Winkle (Santa Claus, Indiana), who tied for 26
th with a 152 (79-73).
USI will resume the 2014-15 season in the spring.
