The break didn't phase the Eagles, coming back to grab game one, 25-18.

The Prairie Stars could not get it together offensively, committing five-straight attacking errors, giving the Eagles a 24-16 edge. Winter slammed a kill down to seal the second-set win for USI.

In the final set, the Eagles outhit UIS .224 to .000. The Prairie Stars called a timeout with USI ahead 23-15. However, it wasn't enough to slow the home team down as DeShaney and Winter put down two straight kills to end the set, and match, in favor of the Eagles.

Tomorrow afternoon the Eagles face McKendree University who fell in four sets to Bellarmine on Friday night in Louisville, Kentucky. USI heads back on the road next week to Aurora, Illinois for the GLVC/Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Crossover tournament.
