GAME NOTES: USI vs. Urbana
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's basketball team returns to action Saturday and continues the five-game homestand by hosting the Urbana University at the Physical Activities Center. Tip-off is slated for 3:15 p.m.

The 12
th-ranked Screaming Eagles (1-0) are flying high after winning their 27
th-straight season opener and the 29
th-straight home opener with the 96-75 victory over Kentucky State University. USI never trailed in the victory and was led by the frontcourt, which combined for 76 of the Eagles 96 points.
The Eagles were led on the scoreboard by senior center
Keith DeWitt (High Point, North Carolina), who had 25 points in his USI debut, and junior forward
Taylor Wischmeier (Brownstown, Indiana), who posted a career-high 20 points.

Orlando Rutledge (Louisville, Kentucky) rounded out the USI double-figure scorers with 14 points in his first appearance at the PAC.
The Blue Knights of Urbana (1-1), who travel to Kentucky Wesleyan College Thursday before continuing on to Evansville, started the 2012-13 campaign with a split in their opening weekend. Urbana fell to top-ranked West Liberty University, 105-66, in its season opener, but bounced back to defeat Holy Family University, 62-50, to end its first weekend of action.
Blue Knights' junior guard Danny Goins led Urbana during the first two contests with 16.0 points per game.
USI leads the all-time series with Urbana, 4-0, dating back to 1986-87. The Eagles defeated the Blue Knights in their latest visit to the PAC, 114-63, in 2009-10.
