BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—Senior distance runner
Dustin Emerick and junior distance runner
Michael Jordan both reached NCAA Division II provisional qualifying times Saturday in the 5,000 meters to lead the University of Southern Indiana men's indoor track and field team at the Indiana University Relays.
Emerick was sixth in the invitational race with a time of 14 minutes, 33.45 seconds, while Jordan was ninth in the invitational race with a time of 14 minutes, 42.79 seconds.
Senior
John Latta had the Screaming Eagles' top finish of the weekend when he crossed the finish line in the open competition of the 5,000 meters in fourth place with a time of 15 minutes, 7.64 seconds.
The Eagles return to action February 3-4 when they compete at the Southern Illinois University Invitational in Carbondale, Illinois.
