ROLLA, Mo.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team now has two coaches atop the program's all-time wins list after it overcame a four-point deficit in the fourth set to defeat Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division leader Missouri University of Science & Technology 28-26, 13-25, 25-22, 25-19 Saturday evening.
Trailing 15-11 and clinging to a one-game advantage in the fourth set, the Screaming Eagles rallied to win eight of the next nine points to take a 19-16 advantage. USI held on for the six-point victory in the fourth frame to slam the door on the host Miners and give USI Head Coach

After suffering a 12-point loss in the second set, the Eagles found themselves trailing by five early in the third frame. USI, however, capitalized on four consecutive attacking errors by Missouri S&T, two of which were a result of a pair of USI blocks, as it went on a 15-2 run to take an 18-10 advantage.
Missouri S&T (13-6, 8-2 GLVC), which got 22 kills from Erin Bekebrede, chiseled the Eagles' advantage to two points on a couple occasions before the Eagles settled on the three-point win in the third frame.
With junior right side hitter
Emily Meyer serving, the Eagles surged for five consecutive points during their 8-1 spurt in the fourth set. Meyer finished with a team-best 13 kills and a .480 attacking percentage while recording four blocks and an ace for the Eagles, who won their fourth straight conference match.

Defensively, the Eagles got six blocks from sophomore middle blocker
