EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team hopes to find a winning formula for road wins when it plays the next four matches away from Strassweg Field. USI starts the road swing at Lewis University Friday at 5 p.m. and ends the first half of the trip at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Sunday at noon.

The Screaming Eagles (4-6-1, 4-4-0 GLVC) are coming off a 2-1 double-overtime victory at home over Saint Joseph's College that broke a three-match losing streak. USI has been successful at Strassweg Field this fall, taking four of five matches.
On the road however, USI has had difficulties and is 0-4-1 during the first half to the season.
The first opponent in USI's path this week is the Flyers of Lewis (4-4-1, 4-3-1 GLVC). Lewis was shutout in its last two matches, losing 1-0 in overtime at Bellarmine University and 3-0 at Northern Kentucky University.
USI has been on a roll against Lewis since 2005, winning all six meetings, and leads the all-time series, 11-3-1. The Eagles defeated the Flyers, 1-0, last year at Strassweg Field.
The Eagles continue the northern half of the road trip Sunday by visiting the Rangers of the UW-Parkside (6-2-0, 6-2-0 GLVC). The Rangers, who have not played outside of the GLVC this season, have been on a roll the last three weeks and won four of their last five matches. UW-Parkside did split last week, losing 3-2 at NKU and winning 1-0 at Bellarmine.
USI and UW-Parkside have battled to an 8-8-1 draw over the last 15 years. The Rangers evened the series last season with a 2-0 win at Strassweg Field.
