EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team racked up a combined .344 attacking percentage in the final three sets as it rallied from a two-game deficit to post a 22-25, 15-25, 25-18, 25-13, 15-7 victory over visiting Rockhurst University Saturday evening at the Physical Activities Center.
USI (8-5, 6-2 GLVC) was reeling after the first two sets as the Hawks (6-8, 3-5 GLVC) posted attacking percentages of .361 and .444 in the first and second frames, respectively.
Following the intermission, however, the Eagles won eight of the final nine rallies to earn the seven-point win in the third set and cut the Hawks' lead in the match in half.

USI continued its streaky play in the fourth set as it jumped out to an 11-2 lead. The Eagles, who hit .393 in the third set, hammered down 16 kills in the fourth stanza as they cruised to a 12-point win to send the match to a deciding fifth game.

Lauren DeShaney hammered down the last of her 10 kills to seal Rockhurst's fate and complete the Eagles' come-from-behind victory.

Danielle LaGrange had 18 kills, a .350 attacking percentage, 11 digs, and a pair of blocks to pace the Eagles, who won their second straight Great Lakes Valley Conference match.
