RENSSELAER, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team evened its record in the GLVC with a 3-0 win at Saint Joseph's College Friday evening in Rensselaer, Indiana. USI, which is 2-1-0 on the road trip, raises its record to 3-1-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the GLVC, while SJC falls to 0-3-1, 0-2-0 GLVC.
The Screaming Eagles flew out to a 2-0 lead in the opening 45 minutes. Freshman forward
Jessica Scott scored her first collegiate goal and the eventual game-winner 15:00 into the contest. She was assisted on the goal by freshman midfielder

Meagan Kempf.
USI took a 2-0 lead into the locker room at halftime after sophomore defender
Brittany McCall scored her first goal as an Eagle at 31:00. Sophomore forward
Susan Ellsperman assisted McCall on the goal.
In the second half, Kempf sealed the victory for the Eagles with her team-best fourth goal of the year. Kempf scored off a pass from freshman midfielder
Sam Houston at 75:00.
Between the posts, the Eagles' defense posted their third and fourth straight halves of shutout soccer. Junior goalkeeper
Stephanie Bodamer recorded her second shutout of the season and the team's third of the 2010 campaign, making four saves.
The Eagles finish their four-game road swing Sunday afternoon at the University of Indianapolis with kick-off slated for 11 a.m. The Greyhounds are 0-2-1 overall and 0-1-1 GLVC after losing to Kentucky Wesleyan College, 1-0, this evening. UIndy leads the all-time series with USI, 8-7-0.
