USI RESULTS; COMPLETE RESULTS
COLUMBUS, Ind. -- The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team took third in the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational at the Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana. USI finished with a 594 after recording a season-best 295 in the first round and a 299 in the final round.
Wayne State University won the team championship with 582 (293-289), while Northern Kentucky Univesity was second with a 590 (293-297).
USI was led by senior Drew Mathews (New Harmony, Indiana) and senior Chris Taylor (Linton, Indiana), who tied for third with two-day totals of 146. Mathew shot 74-72, while Taylor recorded a 71-75.
The Screaming Eagles return to action in the Kentucky Spring Invitational, hosted by Northern Kentucky University at the Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Kentucky, April 2-3.
