FLORENCE, Ala.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team was held to a .057 attacking percentage as it lost to the University of North Alabama 25-19, 25-22, 25-20 Sunday afternoon.
USI (9-6) had just six kills and a .029 attacking percentage in the opening set, while the Lions used an early 6-1 run and a .351 attacking percentage as they picked up the six-point win and a 1-0 lead in the match.
The Lions (10-4) jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the second frame and held off a late USI comeback attempt to build a 2-0 lead in the match. The Screaming Eagles trailed 23-14 before using an 8-1 run to close the gap to 24-22.
USI and North Alabama went through six ties and three lead changes early in the third set, but a 9-4 push allowed the host Lions to put separation between the two clubs en route to the five-point victory.

Danielle LaGrange had seven kills three blocks to lead the Eagles. Freshman setter 
Jorae Bradbury added a team-best 20 assists and 10 digs.
The Eagles return to Great Lakes Valley Conference play Friday at 7 p.m. when they travel to Rensselaer, Indiana, to take on Saint Joseph's College. They conclude the weekend by visiting defending NCAA II Midwest Region champion University of Indianapolis Saturday at 2 p.m. (CDT).
