USI (8-5), which extended its winning streak to five games, jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on the strength of senior third baseman Alex Thieroff's (Greenfield, Indiana) two-run triple in the first inning. The Screaming Eagles tacked on two more tallies in the fifth inning and another in the sixth frame to take a 6-0 lead.
