EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana softball team takes on No. 20 Wayne State University and No. 11 Emporia State University Saturday in the Cougar Classic in Edwardsville, Illinois.
First pitch for the USI-Wayne State game is slated for 2:15 p.m., while the USI-Emporia State contest is slated for a 5:45 p.m. start. The USI-Wayne State game is a rematch from last weekend's contest in which the Screaming Eagles defeated the Warriors, 5-3, in Decatur, Alabama.
USI (3-5) also plays Washburn University Sunday at 12:30 p.m. before taking part in tournament play later in the day.
