SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team is still looking for its first win on the road after starting a three-game road swing with a 1-0 loss at Drury University Friday evening in Springfield, Missouri. USI falls to 3-6-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the GLVC, while Drury raises its record to 8-3-1, 5-2-1 GLVC.
The Panthers scored the only goal of the match at the 14:01 mark. DU junior forward Melissa Perry scored off an assist from sophomore forward Micah Little.
Drury out shot USI, 13-4, and had an advantage in corner kicks, 7-2.
USI, which is 0-5-0 on the road this year, continues its search for a road victory Sunday at Rockhurst University. Match time is 1 p.m. The Eagles conclude the three-match road swing at Kentucky Wesleyan College on October 3.
