Southern Indiana 83, Ferris State 60

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's basketball team made it three-for-three on the homestand with an 83-60 victory over Ferris State University Wednesday night at the Physical Activities Center. USI, which has won four straight games, raised its record to 6-2 overall, while Ferris State fell to 3-7 in 2007-08.

The Screaming Eagles were led by the dominating performance of senior forward Norman Plummer (Cincinnati, Ohio). Plummer scored a season and game-high 30 points, while grabbing a game-high nine rebounds.

USI junior forward Anthony Pimble (Bronx, New York) followed Plummer in the scoring column with 14 points. The Eagles also had nine point performances by sophomore center George Cunningham (San Diego, California), sophomore guard Darren Cloud (Evansville, Indiana), and senior guard Tyson Schnitker (Robinson, Illinois). Cunningham's nine points tied a career-high for the sophomore.

In addition to his nine points, Cloud dished out a game-high nine assists. The nine assists were a season-high for Cloud and were the most by any Eagle in a game this season.

USI will conclude the 2007 calendar year and the homestand by hosting Michigan Tech University on December 30 at 3 p.m. The Eagles will start the new year on the road when they resume GLVC action at the University of Missouri-St. Louis on January 3 and Missouri University of Science and Technology on January 5.
