EVANSVILLE, Ind.—Entering the final three weeks of the 2007 regular season, the University of Southern Indiana volleyball team has two goals in mind: win and get a high seed in the GLVC Tournament.

The Screaming Eagles (12-9, 7-6 GLVC) begin a crucial four-match road trip Friday at 7 p.m. when they travel to Kansas City, Missouri, to take on Rockhurst University in a battle for second place in the GLVC West Division. USI, winner of three straight matches, finds itself a game back of the Hawks in the West Division.

Rockhurst (16-9, 8-5 GLVC) defeated USI in five games at the Physical Activities Center earlier this season. The Hawks, who have defeated the Eagles five straight times since joining the conference in 2005, have lost three of their last four matches.

The Eagles, who are tied with the University of Missouri-St. Louis for third in the division standings, also travel to Springfield, Missouri, to take on Drury University Saturday at 3 p.m. USI leads the Panthers by a game in the West Division.

Drury (12-10, 6-7 GLVC), which holds the final wild card spot for the GLVC Tournament, lost a five-game battle to the Eagles at the PAC earlier this season. The Panthers have lost two straight matches after reeling off a four-match winning streak.

Following this weekend's matches, the Eagles visit Quincy University and No. 17 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville before finishing the regular season with three straight home matches.
