EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana softball team announced that its doubleheader with St. Mary-of-the-Woods Tuesday afternoon has been cancelled due to rain.

USI (33-14, 15-5 GLVC) finishes the regular season Saturday when it hosts Kentucky Wesleyan College for Senior Day. The Screaming Eagles will honor their four seniors—catcher Angie Davis (Greenwood, Indiana), pitchers Missy Grover (Mishawaka, Indiana) and Lindsey McNaughton (Carmel, Indiana), and shortstop Krista Nugent (Hurricane, Utah)—prior to Saturday's noon start.

The Eagles compete in the GLVC Tournament May 5-7 in East Peoria, Illinois, while the NCAA II Great Lakes Regional Tournament is May 11-14 at the region's top seed.
