COLUMBUS, Ind. The University of Southern Indiana men's golf tied for 11th at the third of three NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional touranments. USI shot a team 590 (299-291) over the two-day tournament.
The Screaming Eagles were 15-strokes off the pace set by Bellarmine, which won the tournament with a 36-hole 575 (286-289).
USI was led by sophomore
Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois), who tied for 14th with a 145 (72-73). He was followed by sophomore
Nick Frazer (Evansville, Indiana), who was stroke back and tied for 23rd with a 146 (74-72).
The Eagles will await word on a berth in the NCAA Division II Super-Regional to be held May 1-3. The tournament pairing will be announced April 21.
