EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana-Morehead State University softball doubleheader, scheduled for Tuesday, has been cancelled due to the forecast of rain and snow in Morehead, Kentucky.

USI (12-9, 1-1 GLVC) returns to action Saturday when it opens its 2006 home schedule against Rockhurst University. The Screaming Eagles host the University of Missouri-Rolla Sunday. Both GLVC doubleheaders are slated for a noon start.
