MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team placed 11th out of 20 teams in the University of North Alabama Spring Classic in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The Screaming Eagles shot a two-day 653 (326-327), 29 shots off the pace set by Washburn University.

Washburn won the tournament with a two-round 624 (314-310).

USI's top player was freshman Drew Dunkerly (Linton, Indiana), who tied for 17th with a two round 158 (80-78). Dunkerly was followed by sophomore Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois), who tied for 33rd with a 162 (78-84).

The next tournament for the Eagles will be the Larosa's Collegiat Cup hosted by Northern Kentucky University March 18-19 at the Eagle Creek Country Club in Covington, Kentucky.
