EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana softball team will have to wait a week to open its 2006 season. The Screaming Eagles were slated to open their season Friday at the 10th Annual UCA Spring Clash, but the probability of inclement weather in Conway, Arkansas, this weekend has put forced a cancellation of the tournament.

USI will compete in the University of Alabama-Huntsville Charger Chillout February 24-25 to open its season.
