EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana softball team has postponed its home-opener, scheduled for Tuesday against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, due to poor field and weather conditions. A make-up date is to be announced.

USI, which will visit the University of North Alabama for a doubleheader on Saturday before traveling to Florida for the Division II Rebel Spring Games, is slated to host Morehead State University March 19 at the USI Softball Field.

The Screaming Eagles are 0-4 after their first weekend of action.
