FINDLAY, Ohio – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team lost in double overtime for the second time in five matches, losing to the University of Findlay, 1-0, in Findlay, Ohio, Sunday afternoon. USI goes to 5-8-0 overall, while Findlay is 5-4-2.
The Oilers put the winning goal into the back of the net with 2:13 remaining in the second 10-minute "sudden victory" overtime period. Findlay's Kevin McCoy scored the game-winner at the 107:47 mark of the match.
The Screaming Eagles resumes GLVC action on the road next weekend when they play at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Kansas, October 14 at 7:30 p.m. and at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, October 16 at 2:30 p.m.
