OWENSBORO, Ky.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team swept Kentucky Wesleyan College 30-15, 30-19, 30-9 Friday evening at the Woodward Health and Recreation Center.
Sophomore outside hitter
Chelse Doubler (Griffin, Indiana) had a match-high 13 kills to lead the Screaming Eagles to their third straight victory. Freshman setter
Stephanie Wilson (Terre Haute, Indiana) had a match-high 27 assists, while sophomore outside hitter
Amanda Probst (Wheeler, Illinois) had a match-high 13 digs.
Junior middle blocker
Laura Ellerbusch (Evansville, Indiana) had eight kills in 10 attempts for a match-high .800 attacking percentage.
USI (9-4 overall, 3-0 GLVC) had 13 service aces and hit .404 as a team.
KWC (0-10 overall, 0-2 GLVC) was led by freshman outside hitter Erin Krodel's 10 kills.
The Eagles will face Northern Kentucky University Saturday at 1 p.m. (CDT) in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
